Our organization exists to distribute Caps to those in need of them. Our members and contributers knit, crochet and sew caps that are distributed through out Southern Hartford, New Haven and Middlesex Counties. We are always looking for knitters, sewers and people who crochet to help us with our goal to keep heads warm in the winter and sheltered from the sun in the summer.
There are several reasons Caps are needed. The most notiable is for Chemotherapy patients but there are several other people who need our help. We have been asked by NICU's to provide newborn caps, Cancer Centers to provide Chemo Caps and Surgical Centers to provide protection for surgical patients. It is our goal to help with all these causes.
